Hot Honeyed Carrots

Ingredients

  • 3 bunches Dutch carrots heads trimmed and peeled
  • 60 gram butter
  • 0.75 cup Vegetables stock
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp sage

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and honey in a large deep frying pan.
  2. Add carrots and toss to coat in mixture.
  3. Pour over the stock and the herbs.
  4. Cover and simmer for for 5}} or until just tender.
  5. Remove cover, bring to the boil and cook for about 8}} until liquid has evaporated and carrots are golden and caramelised, turning occasionally.
