Memphis-Style Championship Red Sauce
Ingredients
- 1.25 cup Ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 0.75 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 0.75 cup tomato paste
- 0.75 cup brown sugar
- 0.5 cup Maple syrup
- 4 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp molasses
- 4 tbsp salt
- 4 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp apple juice
- 1.5 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 0.75 tsp cornstarch
- 0.5 tsp mustard
- 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 0.128 tsp white pepper
- 0.128 tsp cumin ground
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan and bring to
a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer over medium-low heat for 15}}.
- Let cool.
Can be stored refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
