Memphis-Style Championship Red Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1.25 cup Ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.75 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 0.75 cup tomato paste
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup Maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp molasses
  • 4 tbsp salt
  • 4 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple juice
  • 1.5 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.75 tsp cornstarch
  • 0.5 tsp mustard
  • 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.128 tsp white pepper
  • 0.128 tsp cumin ground

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer over medium-low heat for 15}}.
