Ingredients
800 gram potatoes peeled and sliced 2-3mm thick
3 deci litre milk
3 deci litre cream
2 clove garlic
100 gram Gruyere shredded
1 leek sliced , optional
Instructions
Layer potato slices and optionally leek slices in a form
Mix milk, cream, and garlic and season with salt and pepper
Pour liquid mixture over the potatoes. The potatoes should be fully covered.
Bake for 50}} until the potatoes are soft.
Increase the oven temperature to 220}°} add shredded cheese on top and bake for 10}} until browned.
Gruyere can be replaced with mozarella or other cheese.
