Strudel

Dough

Ingredients

  • 200 gram flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and salt.
  2. Mix egg, oil and water well and add to flour.
  3. Knead until dough is smooth.
  4. Form a ball and let rest.

Minced Meat filling

Ingredients

  • 80g butter
  • 500g minced meat
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp cream
  • parsley
  • cayennepepper

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pan and fry onions until slightly browned, set aside. Melt the remaining butter.
  2. Mix minced meat, onion, salt, pepper, egg, cream, and parsley.
  3. Roll the strudel dough on a clean towel very thin.
  4. Paint butter on the dough and put filling on half of the dough, leave space at the edges.
  5. Wrap the borders and roll the strudel.
  6. Put on a lined tray and coat with the remaining melted butter and bake.
